Nicole by OPI - Sweet Daisy Review

Hey guys!

I hope you're all enjoying this wintery weather we've been having. If you live in New Zealand, if you happen to live in the northern hemisphere, then I hope you're enjoying your summery weather. I'm very jealous of you all, I'm not a huge winter fan. Haha.

Considering we haven't been having great weather lately, I have a pretty springy coloured polish for you to brighten your day (because the sun isn't doing an awesome job). Today, I have Nicole by OPI's 'Sweet Daisy' polish for you. This is a pretty peachy salmon creme. This polish comes from the Carrie Underwood collection. This polish I didn't find too overwhelming in the bottle shots, and I'm still slightly on the fence about it. I'm sure some of you will like it though!

Now, Sweet Daisy was slightly disappointing. I'm all for cremes at the moment, but this one wasn't all that great. The formula was quite thin and it was super patchy. It took me three coats to make it opaque, and even then there were some bits of patchiness. I wore this under Lips are dripping honey, and I thought I'd quickly swatch it for you guys, so I didn't really bother trying to get all of the patchiness evened out, and because I decided to do my nails at crazy o clock, I don't really have any good swatches of this colour. It came out looking orange, but it doesn't really look like that. It's weird. Application of this polish isn't too great, but at least it dries shiny!

When I applied this polish I really did not like it on the nail. It was too peachy for my skintone. It'd probably look good on people with a darker skintone, and I may try wearing this over summer when I have a tan because it may look better like that, but for now, it's really not a polish that I am really ecstatic about, but I guess if you're someone who really likes peach, I think this is something you'd really want to get.

Also, just a fun little fact, if you're a New Zealander who happens to read my blog (THANK YOU) and you're looking at all of these Nicole by OPI polishes and going "Wow. I wish we had them here." Countdown now sells NOPI polishes for $13.99 each! I'm super excited about this and so if you're ever wondering about these Nicole by OPI polishes, just check countdown!
