Hello all!
I hope that you're all doing well and have had a few
relaxing weeks. I'm SO sorry I haven't posted in a while! I still have little shorties, but I'm hoping to do some swatching for you guys tomorrow. Aaaaaaanyway I'm really excited about sharing this polish with you all. As
soon as I got it I was all "I CANT WAIT TO REVIEW THIS", but it's
taken me so long to actually get around to it. How annoying.
Today I have a polish from one of OPI's spring 2014
collections. There was like four or five spring collections by OPI this year,
which I found a bit weird, but whatever. Bring on the polish. This colour is
from the Brazil collection, and is a bright yellow creme called "I Just
Can't Cope-acabana". Great name right?
So, if you're new to the polish world, or you don't wear
yellows, yellow polishes tend to be AWFUL formula and application wise.
However, I Just Can't Cope-acabana surprised EVERYONE. It has a great formula,
and it wasn't streaky at all and it only took two coats to be fully opaque! I
was so amazed. This polish doesn't take too long to dry, which is great, and it
dried really glossy. If you regularly follow my blog, you'd know how much I love
glossy polishes. I'm such a big fan! My only disappointment with this polish is
that it doesn't look too great on me. Haha. I'm too pale to pull this off
currently. Hopefully when spring and summer roll around, it'll look better with
my tan. Haha.
Natural light. (I apologise for the lack of clean up around the nails. Good job Hannah.)
Sunlight shot.
I'm actually not a huge fan of yellow polishes, however
weirdly enough, when I first saw the Brazil collection, this was what called
out to me most. Weird? I think yes. However, this really is a perfect yellow
creme if you're looking for something like this.
