Orly- Elation Generation Review

Hey guys,

Hope you're all doing well and have had a good few days since my last post. I've been busy with work and university, but I'm ready for a nice break over the weekend.

Today I have a fun little Orly polish review for you. I don't have an awful lot of Orly, which is weird because I love their polishes. The one I have for you today is "Elation Generation" which is a pretty medium pink crelly filled with silver holographic glitter. This is from the summer 2013 collection, but I found this one in the US when I was there in June last year, so this one should be pretty accessible.

Elation Generation was such a great polish. It had a great formula, although the base was a little bit sheer. I think the sheerness of the polish helped it look more amazing though because it enabled the gorgeous holographic glitter to shine through. It was totally opaque in three coats. Elation Generation had really good glitter coverage and I didn't have to fish any out of the bottle, nor did I have to try and manipulate it to get it where I wanted on my nails. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't super sunny when I swatched this one, but I think it would be absolutely insane in the sun. The glitter would look really awesome.

I haven't worn Elation Generation as a full manicure yet, but I can tell you for sure, that I can't wait to try it out- hopefully before summer ends so I get to see this really pop in the sun.
