OPI- Baby Please Come Home Review

Hello wonderful people!

I trust you're all doing well, and I hope that you like these swatches and review! I actually managed to find this polish for $10 at a pharmacy when they were trying to get rid of their holiday collections, so that was a pretty good bargain and from what you'll see in this post, I think you'll agree.

Today I have a pretty OPI liquid sand polish for you. This one was actually from OPI's 2013 Holiday collection which they collaborated with Mariah Carey in. I'm not really a Mariah Carey fan (I take after my Mum in that respect), but I am a huge fan of this polish! It's called 'Baby Please Come Home" and it's a beautiful metallic lilac textured polish. I saw this one and for $10, I couldn't pass on it!

Bottle shot. Weeeeee.

This polish had a good formula, and application was super easy, which I'm very happy with. It's completely opaque in two coats, which is a typical opacity for liquid sands, so I wasn't too surprised with that. Now, liquid sands are not meant to be worn with top coat, so I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as shiny as it is. It has cute little circularish glitters in it too, so that helped with it's shininess slightly. This polish was gritty, but it's supposed to be like that because liquid sands are textured polishes (one of the reasons for it to not be topcoated). These liquid sands have quite a reasonable drying time, so that's super awesome.

Blurry natural light photo. Sorry for the bluriness in this.

To me, this polish doesn't really scream HOLIDAY, so I plan on wearing it the whole year round. It's too pretty not to. I'm really happy with this purchase. It looks great in the bottle, it looks great on the nail, plus it'll look super great in your stash.
