China Glaze- The Outer Edge Review

Hey guys!

I hope you're all doing well and have had a fantastic few days. It was actually my birthday two days ago, so now I'm an adult! 18 is scary. I'd much rather stay a child forever. Is it too late to become Peter Pan?

Today I have a pretty glitter polish for you guys from China Glaze. This is another polish from their The Giver collection that came out earlier this year. It is called The Outer Edge and is beautiful silver and white microglitter topper suspended in a clear base. In my swatches, I have worn it over Givers Theme, also from the same collection.

Bottle shot. It looks kinda like a white creme here. I apologise for that.

The Outer Edge ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be. Formula-wise, that is. The formula wasn't goopy and as it's suspended in a clear base, it's very versatile. The coverage I got from this polish was fantastic, even with the skinny china glaze brush! I used just one coat in my swatches. The notes that I wrote about The Outer Edge mentions that it looks like snow. I feel like if you live somewhere with winter Christmases, this would be perfect. I might have to try it over a red now.

Sunlight shot

Up close sunlight shot,

I must have forgotten to take a natural light shot! I'll update this post when I get around to wearing it again. Sorry!

I found this to be quite a unique polish, which is definitely saying something in an ever growing stash of 140+, so that's definitely something that benefits this polish. The formula was much better than I expected and the fact that it has a clear base, just makes it that much more versatile. Based on it's formula and how unique it is, I would definitely recommend this polish.
