Hello!
Today I have swatches and a review of OPI's 'Fresh Frog of
Bel Air' polish. This came from their Muppets collection in 2011, so if you do
end up liking this polish, you may have to buy them online, because it might be
hard to find them in stores.
Fresh Frog of Bel Air is a polish with a clear base with
green micro glitter and silver hex glitter in it. In the bottle, this polish
looks beautiful, and on the nail, it does too, but read this review before you
rush out to buy it. I paired this polish with a cheap black polish, which I
thought looked pretty great.

This polish is filled with glitter, but it's also filled
with issues. The formula for one. The formula of this polish is awful. It's one
of the worst polish formulas I have ever come across. It's so watery and it
literally runs right off the nail. There is also no way this polish will be
opaque on its own. Believe me, I've tried. One time, I had six coats, and you
could STILL see the nail line, so essentially, the only way you can wear this
polish, is layered, and the only way this polish can get full coverage over the
base colour, is by using the blob and spread method.
This polish dried relatively smooth on the nail, which was
great, and it lasted for a while too, so I loved that. It was hard to get the
silver hex glitters onto the nail, and I had to fish them out, and that's not enjoyable,
so I wish there were more hex glitters in the polish, which would make it
easier for application purposes, but whatever. At least it looks nice. It took
a while to dry, which was unfortunate, and I was not a big fan of that, but
that's probably just me being impatient.

Fresh Frog of Bel Air in the sun. It's so sparkly.
This polish, unfortunately, is not one that I'd recommend.
It definitely was not great, the formula in particular. I have honestly ever
seen a more shocking and appalling formula. It was horrendous. The only good
point about this polish was that it was a pretty colour. I'm sorry OPI, but
this was not your best work.
