OPI- This Gown Needs A Crown Review

Hey guys!

I hope you've all had a good few days. I just got home after my trip. I had so much fun, but I'm so glad to be home. There's nothing quite like your own bed.

Today I have another OPI polish for you. This particular polish would probably be pretty hard to find now (Sorry) as it comes from the 2011 Miss Universe collection. The name of this polish is "This Gown Needs A Crown" and is a gorgeous silver polish with a satin finish and intended to be worn without a top coat.

The formula of This Gown Needs A Crown is pretty good. It's relatively opaque as it takes three coats for full opaqueness. It dries REALLY quickly, like matte polishes tend to do, and it dries looking really shiny. This is due to all the sparkles in it, which you can see in my sunlight photo below. Removal isn't too great because there is some stubborn sparkle which just wants to stay on your nails, but overall, it's not too bad.

If you know me, you'll know that I have an obsession with both polish and country music, well as soon as this polish went on, the song "Platinum" by Miranda Lambert kept playing in my head. This Gown Needs A Crown is a platinum silver with a gorgeous sparkle and a satin finish. It's just like a silver version of OPI's Love.Angel.Music.Baby. which was released as part of their Gwen Stefani collection in 2014. OPI pulls off these satin polishes so well, I wish they'd release more. What are your thoughts on This Gown Needs A Crown? Do you love it as much as I do?
