Essie- Haute In The Heat Review

Hey guys!

I hope you're going well.

The polish I have for you today is a gorgeous Essie raspberry red/pink creme colour called "Haute in the Heat". This polish is the namesake for Essie's summer 2014 collection.

Haute in the heat is amazing in so many ways. I totally dig this colour, it's one of those "Is it red? Is it pink?" Colours which I'm ALL ABOUT. And it's formula, no complaints whatsoever. It's got a super pigmented formula, but it's JUST not good enough for one coat, but that's ok, it's gorgeous enough anyway. It dries amazingly shiny, although most of Essie's cremes do. As much as I love this polish, do not, and I repeat DO NOT skip the base coat. It WILL stain and you will have pink coloured nails. Not a good idea. Check out the swatches below.

This collection unfortunately wasn't released here in New Zealand, but I got this colour from phoenixbeautylounge.com, which is fantastic. While you're at it, check out the other colours from Essie's summer 2014 collection because they're so gorgeous. The formula of this one made me want to get all of them because Essie's formulas have been stunning lately.
