Hey guys, So, lately I've been super great at uploading posts, just not sharing them, so sorry about that. I will most definitely work on that so you can see all these beautiful polishes as soon as I blog! Today I have a fun Essie glitter polish for you. It came out a few years ago in Essie's holiday collection, I think possibly their last holiday collection (Essie don't tend to do holiday collections, they just do winter ones). This polish is called "Ignite The Night" and it is a pretty grey and silver fine glitter polish.
This polish is incredible. Essie always tend to do really nice fine glitters which encouraged me to purchase it, and I'm so glad that I did. It takes two coats to get opaque, which means that it's dense enough without layering. It's probably too dense to layer over another polish unfortunately, but it's still super pretty on it's own. The formula is great and it has a perfect consistency which I was super pleased with, because sometimes the glitter/base ratio can be way off, and that's not a fun polish to try and use at all. Ignite The Night also dries super shiny and relatively quickly, depending on how thick your coats are. Check out the swatches below:
This is a polish that I constantly joke about how it gives me "feels" when I see it sitting on my shelf. It's so gorgeous. It might be harder to find because it is from an older collection, but I managed to find it on eBay, so I'd check it out there.
