Hey guys!
I hope you've all had a good couple of days since I've posted. I've been busy studying for my exams. I had one yesterday and another one tomorrow, so hopefully I do well and pass. I hope if you're getting ready to sit exams soon, you feel prepared and do well.
Today I have a fun partial collection for you to see. This is the MLB collection that OPI came out with in April 2014 and it was a seven piece collection and I have three of the polishes to share with you today. Now, this collection was kinda weird. I didn't see too much about these polishes online, so it must have been a pretty well hidden collection and wasn't really released anywhere big. I actually managed to pick up two of these polishes from ebay, and then I found one randomly at a makeup sale. But without further ado, here are the polishes.
First up, we have Girls Love Diamonds. This is a pearly, shimmery silvery white colour. As you'll see in the swatches below, it's insanely shimmery. Unfortunately, the formula isn't great. It is really thin and super sheer. I used four coats and you could still see a little bit of my nail line. As the formula is thin, you have to be really careful with application, otherwise it will pool at your cuticles. It also doesn't dry too quickly, which kinda sucks. I'm not too sure how I actually feel about this polish. I have worn it as a full manicure and I didn't care for it too much. I think it could be quite cool for nail art though. Check out the swatches below:
Lastly, I have Umpires Come Out At Night. This is a bright navy blue creme. It's a really deep navy, but still manages to pull blue in the light. It has a jelly like formula, which I quite liked because I found it easy to work with. It dried insanely shiny, which is something that comes with the jelly like formula. This polish was just a pleasure to work with. I didn't experience any issues with staining while I was swatching this, so I can't imagine it's too bad, but like most blues, it may, so I'd recommend just doubling up on base coat. Check out the swatches here:
This was a very text and picture heavy post, so if you've managed to make it all the way down here, thank you very much for staying with me. I appreciate it. These polishes may be kinda difficult to find, but ebay should still have them up. Did any of you manage to pick these up when they came out or are now planning to pick any up?

Next, we have Love Athletes In Cleats. This polish, man. It's quite possibly my favourite polish of ALL TIME. It's a cherry red polish with a pink and silver shimmer running through it. The formula and opacity is just incredible. I used two coats. but it quite easily can be a one coater if you're careful. It dries pretty quickly and shiny and it's just so UGH. Fun story: I actually wore this polish when I was in America earlier this year, and we went to an Angels game. So, if you're an Angels fan and you're looking for an Angels red colour with a little something extra, you just found it. Check out the swatches below:
