OPI Hello Kitty Review

Hey guys,

I hope you're all doing well and have had a nice start to December.

Today I have a fun little unplanned post for you. This collection was one I knew was coming out, but I was expecting to find it in January, so it was a lovely little surprise for me when I found this last week. I couldn't find many swatches online of the whole collection, so I wasn't sure which colours I wanted and I just picked up some of the ones I liked, and after these ones, I will be heading back to get a couple more because I was certainly impressed with these. Also, this post is insanely pink heavy, as is most of the collection, so if you're not a pink lover, I do apologise.

Bottle shots. From left to right: Starry Eyed For Dear Daniel, Super Cute In Pink, Look At My Bow, Small + Cute = <3

First up, we have Look At My Bow. Look At My Bow is a lovely bubblegum pink creme. It reminded me of Nicole by OPI's Carnival Cotton Candy, which I LOVE. I was actually wearing that one a few weeks ago and said I wanted an OPI that same colour, and then saw this one and freaked out. Formula wise, it's a little streaky on the first coat, but evens out by the second coat, so in my swatch picture, I only used two coats. The formula isn't too thick or thin, so you shouldn't have issues with cuticle flooding. It does dry pretty shiny, and I love shiny cremes, so yay. However, it does dry a little darker than the bottle, but I'm not too bothered by that. Check it out below:

Next, we have Starry Eyed For Dear Daniel. Now this one. This is my favourite. It's a fuschia and silver micro glitter in a pink base. It's my birthday in a few weeks, and I was worrying about what I was going to wear on my birthday, but as soon as I swatched this one, I was all "Crisis averted". It has great coverage on the first coat and it dries insanely fast. It's completely opaque in two coats. Removal is difficult, but that's to be expected from a glitter polish as dense as this one. In my swatches, I wore it alone, and I think that's the best way to wear this one. It's a little too dense and with the pink base it'd be a little difficult to wear as a topper. Check out the swatches below:

Super Cute In Pink is the next polish I have for you. It's a cute purpley pink jelly colour. This one was one I actually picked up because it was buy two, get one free, so I chose this one as my free one, and weirdly enough, this is one of my favourites in the collection. It has impressive coverage for a jelly and is completely opaque in two coats. It is sheer on the first coat though, but that's to be expected from a jelly. It's also ridiculously shiny and I had crazy heart eyes over that. But seriously guys, if glitter isn't your thing, and you're only going to pick up one colour, get this one. Check out the swatch below:
(I apologise for the quality of this. I have no idea why it's so small)

Lastly, I have Small + Cute = <3. (How cute are these names, by the way? Like ugh. SO GOOD.) It's a pretty light pink creme, Formula wise, it's a little streaky, but it evened out by the third coat. Three coats is pretty standard for light colours though. It dries really shiny, which seems to be a trend with these polishes in this collection. I love this one, because it's a really nice neutral-esque colour. I'm slowly building up my neutral/pale pink collection, and so this one is a perfect one and I'm glad to have it. Check out the swatch below:

I'm totally obsessed with the polishes I picked up from this collection, and I can't wait to get some more. Also, the cute little bottle cap is so cute. I love seeing these up on my shelf. These are available now in New Zealand from Farmers and Life Pharmacy, and I have seen they are also available in Australia. As for the rest of the world, I'm not too sure, but they should be out by January 2016.
