I hope you're doing well and have a good weekend planned. I'm going to see the Wellington Phoenix play tonight and I'm very excited. Me and my family go every year when they play up in Auckland and it's always a fun time.
Today I have an exciting polish for you. It's called "Over and Over A-Gwen" from the Gwen Stefani collection which came out in January 2014. It's her "signature shade" from the collection and it came with swarovski crystals and some nail glue too. Because of this, it retailed for a larger amount than the other colours in this collection. I actually managed to find it for $15 at duty free when I was coming home from Australia in March. Over and Over A-Gwen is a pretty medium red creme, and surprisingly enough, I don't have an exact dupe in my hundreds of red polishes.

Over and Over A-Gwen is super easy to work with and the formula is amazing. It was pretty much opaque in one coat, but I wanted to use two just to make sure I had no VNL and to see if it deepened the colour at all. It dries really shiny. The formula is a tiny bit thin, but nothing too bad. However, as pretty this colour is, it does have a flaw. It's a red. So it's a stainer. Particularly around the cuticles, so if you do happen to pick up this colour, be very careful with removal to ensure that it doesn't stain you as badly as it stained me. Check out the swatches below:
This polish will be a little harder to find now because OPI's little six piece collections in January tend to be extremely limited edition, but this should be available on ebay and amazon. Plus, if you happen to fly out of the Gold Coast airport, internationally, you can find it duty free there :P
